9 spd KMC chains and Campy

Does any one have experience using KMC 9 speed chains with Campag. 9 speed components? My two concerns are whether they shift as well as the Campag. chains, and whether they are as durable. Any pertinent comments are appreciated.

My LBS mechanic told me that he would not sell me a KMC chain for my 11-spd Campy. He's had some stories on the bikes that he has repaired that had them. Look like Campy or bust! :beer:

KMC are great chains, work fine on Campagnolo 9s (and 10s) systems. Shift well and are durable.

As for the comment about KMC 11s chains...about the same $ as Campagnolo Chorus so I sell Campagnolo but I haven't heard or seen any issues with the 11s KMC chain..link is single use tho.

KMC for Campy 10 is awesome. Nice chains. I would imagine they would work great with 9 speed.
