Sorry if this is a repost... Just saw that someone posted a 1991 special "Motorola- Life of a Pro Cycling Team" on Youtube. 1991- when Tomac was a euro pro roadie, and George Hincapie was a fresh-faced rookie!

The same person also posted coverage of the 1993 Thrift Drug Classic, where a kid named Lance takes home a 1 million dollar payout in his first year as a pro...

Awesome! Motorola was my favorite team when I first started following professional cycling. Back in 94/95/96, it wasn't uncommon to see them around Austin doing training events. I had a chance to attend a Motorola event in early 1996 and ride around on one of the team bikes (a Caloi-badged MXL).

I would say that the team's equipment choices have influenced my love of specific bikes over the years. :)
