well on flickr there's that little "share" box toward the top left corner -- click it, then select the radio button that says BB Code, and copy what's in the box -- paste it here.

After you paste it, highlight the link and click the "Insert Image" button. That will treat the link as an image with the proper HTML bracketed code around it.

You can also hit the button first, then paste the link into the pop-up that comes up, but I have occasionally had trouble with that feature.

Post your image on flickr. Display it. Go to "View All Sizes". Display the size you want - be careful, anything larger than "Medium 640" is apt to be so large it will unduly widen the forum page. Right click on the image and select "Copy image location." You now have a URL of a JPG file in your clipboard.

Go to the forum. Compose a message. Go to where you want the image to appear. Click on the yellow square with the mountain icon -- between the bullet list and the globe with a chain link. Click on it and a box appears with the label "Insert the text to be formatted." Click into the box and paste (Ctrl V) the URL you previously copied from flickr into the clipboard.

If you don't feel like clicking on icons, paste the URL into the message and bracket it with IMG /IMG tags (in square brackets).
