In my never-ending search for walkable Look compatible shoes I came across these. http://cleatskins.com/shop/Bikeskins%20-%20SP_Bikeskins/White
Don't seem to help too much with the duck-waddle problem but they do solve the issue of damaging sensitive flooring. Similar to the Look cleat covers but from what I can tell they strap onto the shoe while riding so you don't need to carry in a pocket or bag.

Have you tried them? Reviews?

And as usual only works for look type of cleats? Looks like a good idea to me.

Actually no, they have versions for SPD-SL and Speedplay also. I just linked to the Look models.

I purchased some this Winter and have not had a chance to use them on the road. I tested them around the house walking in them and hooking the front strap over the back of the shoe for storage instead of over the toe for walking.

Cleaskins recommends hooking the front strap halfway up the shoe heel to store them out of the way by wearing them while riding. I found that the strap would slide down. I then hooked the strap over the top of the back of the shoe but found that the strap was uncomfortable against the back of my heel. However my Diadora Speedracers have a point on each side of the back of the shoe at the top of the heel that the strap can be hooked to and it will not touch the back of my heel and it will stay in place so it will work fine. Nice to not have them taking space in my jersey pocket. Not sure of final verdict until I actuall use them but they look promising.

They're a softer dur than most others and come to suite most types. I have the Look type used on a couple of other brands cleats of similar shape where other covers wont quite fit but these will.

Grip is very good.

(or you can use the jumbo's that are normally used as track cleat covers to fit over damn near anything) http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/photos/tech/ibike11/11ib1cs1.jpg
