This was on the AP wire today. Am I missing something? I'm all in favor of having a good time riding with your buyddies, BUT hey seem to be covering all the bases as far as alienating the general public from cyclists . . .

Yale Johnson, left, and Chase Chivers, ride their customized bikes with their team, "The Buzzards," in the Dead Baby Bikes Downhill race Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, in Seattle. This is not your average spandex-wearing bicycle race. Helmets are optional. Injuries are expected. Booze is all but mandatory. It's legal status is questionable. And the pinata at the post-race party is shaped like a police cruiser. (AP Photo/Kevin P. Casey)

Kind of like that critical mass (I think that's what they were called) where all the cyclists come out and clog the streets during rush hour. Nothing like getting every motorist in the city pissed off at cyclists. That'll get the message across.

I guess if I had to say it......I wouldn't understand.

I may grow older but I'll never grow up.
Life is too serious to take seriously.
