Just finished building up a new (to me) frame - really deserves a new cable set.

What cable sets are folks running for SRAM Red?

I use this on my commuter with Rival http://www.jensonusa.com/Cables-and-Housing/Jagwire-Racer-Diy-Road-Cable-Kit Never had any problems.

The Yokozuna cables and housing are getting good reviews...I just ordered three sets, gear cable and 'jet lubed' housing kit from CC @ $19 a set.

Find good, lined 5mm der housing and any good brake housing. I sell Jagwire. Gore inner wires shred the coating, gumming stuff up plus expensive.

BUT 5mm der housing and metal ferrules. Far better than 4mm der housing.

I just used the cable set that came with the shifters... seem to work just fine so far... maybe I'm missing something, but...

have used most the various cables out there with sram. generic cable is what i would use if paying.
