Looking at a '09 Fierte steel frame, any feedback would be appreciated.

As I'm sure you know, the Fierte is designed to place the rider in a more upright position with a tall head tube and short top tube. That and the more compliant tubing make it a great all day ride. It's comfy for long days in the saddle and would be good for club rides. I liked my Fierte a lot. If there was one thing that didn't quite jibe for me, it would be the cornering and descending. The bike was wonderfully solid, but the position with more weight over the rear of the bike, made it less of a speed demon and more of a nicely appointed Mercedes.
