I have a 1999-2000 that I just sold to 93legendti

It was one of the last 1" head tines as I am pretty sure they were all 1-1/8" by the middle of the 2000 model year

My 2001 Concours was 1". My 2002 Legend was 1 1/8". My 2003 Hors Cross is 1 1/8"

My guess is the last year for 1" was also the last year of the F1. The 2002 catalog shows the F1 as 1" only.

The catalog scan is so fuzzy it's hard to read, but I think you could get a 1 1/8" HT on the Concours that year if you got the F2 fork.

2000 and 2001 catalogs show 1 1/8" HT as optional on custom Concours.

Question?

So, what do you think. Does this 2001 legend Ti have a 1" or a 1-1/8"

The important question for me is where is that frame selling?

That frame -62.5- was just sold. ...To me :)

I don't have it yet, was curious about the head tube Diameter though?

If it's a 1" I was thinking about picking up an F1 for it.

If it's a 1-1/8 I would have a few more choices.

Thanks, and sorry if I'm stepping on another post.

Bah! Would have fit me well. I'm one of the few people who finds a nice long head-tube very attractive

Is that a 24cm headtube?

Close, 23. But I'm sure you could work with it. ...As I will :)

My 64 Colorado II was a 25!

Nice! Well back to the hunt for a nice tall frame...

Thinking of maybe going custom

What model is the stem? Some (most?) stems were only made in one steerer size.

It's a Ouzo Pro, they were available in both 1" & 1-1/8".

But it seems that it's pretty unanimous that it's a 1-1/8, thanks everyone :). Very Cool, now I have more up-to-date options to consider, guess I'll look into getting an F3 -8.5 ?- or an ENVE 2.0.

Tough choice. I'm 6'4" and weigh 215.
Which one would track better & feel more confidence inspiring for a big guy like me?

I was about 215lbs and Ouzo Pros worked well for me on 40-45mph descents.

So, in your opinion a 2012 F3 or Enve 2.0 would not be an obvious improvement over the 2008 Ouzo Pro -that already comes with the bike- for a big guy like me?

Interesting, ...and cost effective! :)

I had the Ouzo Pro on a Waterford RS 11, Litespeed, and LeMond. I had the Serotta equivalent on my Legend (O2 I think) and they were all perfect for me. I would certainly try your new bike as is before spending $$ on a "better" fork that might be no better.

Looks to be a Deda Newton. Made in 1 1/8" with a sleeve for 1" steerers. If it have a sleeve then 1" for not 1 1/8".
