i know a compagny that make's 30 miilion bikes a year

and we think that we are a cycling country
but on the other hand they do not know who lance amstrong or jan ulrich is
i ask people in the factory from workers to the top level

Buy 12 Ottrott STs. Then sell 10 of the Ottrotts. You will then have the cash to buy several very nice cars, and possibly a small house. If you decide that you don't need 2 Ottrotts, you could always trade one for a nice power boat. :)

I put more miles on my bike than my car...this factoid is a fascination for the Amish farmer who visits our neighborhood every saturday in good weather to sell organic fruits and vegetables. We talk about the cost in terms of energy required to power my bicycle miles vs a car or horse or tractor. Also, we talk about avg. spd. over time and such vs his car, horse, tractor. In terms of operating costs and speed I'm on par with his Massey Ferg. tractor ;)

It makes me appreciate how viable and useful alternate means of transportation (non-motorized) are in many situations. Thinking I need one of those cargo trailers now, it's just ridiculous we drive 3 miles to the grocery
