Arundel Tubi or alternative for tubulars

Anyone using an Arundel Tubi bag for their spare tubular? Happy or not? Any other alternatives? (except a Campagnolo leather strap)

Love my Tubi, but wish I could jam my PitStop in there with the tubular... but no such luck.

Do the Jandd bags have a bit more room?

Tubi's on all my bikes, whether clincher or tubular. The Pit Stop goes in the back pocket ;)

I (knock on wood) have not had many flats on my tubulars. When I have, the Pit Stop got me home. I also carry a spare tire and CO2.

I have friends that use it as a precaution, and swear by it. I can't afford an extra $15 into every tubular.

I put a 1/2 an ounce of Stan's in all the tubular tires I have with a removable core, and bring PitStop on every ride. It's worked the 2 times I needed it...

Tried it once with a rather huge hole (hey, I was 5 miles from anywhere and had no support available) and it did fail that time. Surprising how far you can ride a flat tubular... and not trash the rim.

I use the Tubi.

It's nice in that it tucks in between the seat rails and doesn't flop around. It could use a strap to wrap around the seatpost. All in all, it's a clean, elegant way to carry the tire. I haven't found a better way.

I used to use just a strap but it pinches and binds the tire. I now use an Arundel Tubi and it's pretty decent. I can get a lever in there with the tire and there's less pinching of the tire, which I always feared could damage the inner tube.

Only issue is that it interferes with the taillight I like to use, especially at this time of year, so lately the spare tubular has been going into my jersey pocket.

I don't have a Binda strap but I do use a white Campagnolo strap. Tire into a shop sock, tire lever(yep, my tires are GLUED ON) and $5....held in place with the toe strap.

I shove a tubular, a lever and a valve extender in a Thomson seatpost bag and strap it on with a toe strap.
