Is this thing for real? It makes no sense to me. Does the shape of the crank arm really matter? How is this any different than a normal crank (just picture a straight crank through the same bb and pedal on the picture below)? What seems to matter (at least to me) is just where the pedal is in relation to the bottom bracket, the shape the crank arm goes in to get there seems irrelvant. What am I missing?
