need help

How do you post pictures using the "Insert Image" icon? I don't really see any instructions here

You'll want to paste the image URL first, then highlight it and click the Image button.

copy/save your image url.

insert your copied/saved image url.
then your picture should be posted.
it will need to be in some form of jpeg, etc.

i just took off everything after .jpg.

I never use the buttons - just type out bbcode, and try to pay attention to the extension of the image. It might not work if there is a string of numbers after the extension - like your image.

And if you paste, highlight, then click, it looks like this:

You don't have to edit anything. I would have never figured out to removed part of the URL to get it to work.

OK, I think I got it. At least with photobucket you copy the link named "direct link. That is what created the pic above. I tried directly copying the link from the address bar and that didn't work either. So, I guess I have this figured out now.

edit: since I have this "figured out" I will try with a direct link from the address bar now.

OK, I see the problem. The address bar is a different link that's labeled direct link. I guess that's because they allow you to enlarge the picture and the link is kind of weird. This one should show from the direct link tab
