OT: Any C6 'Vette owners here?

Just a c5. The refinements and tidier dimensions and look of the c6s have me looking though, unless a 911 sways me.

My boss has a 2011 carbon edition Z06 he has already modified. Car gets to 120 in a hurry :banana:

I'm half sort of kind of fondling with the idea of getting a used 2007 - 2009 C6......Just looking into what sorts of repairs are commonly experienced, etc.
I hear they make great family cars... :)

Make sure you fit in one. I'm 6'4" and I don't fit in a current Vette. I've had the chance to drive a few and I can't sit in them normally without my head hitting the head liner. It surprised me.

Ironic and interesting that my tiny little Lotus has enough head room that I fit in even with a helmet on. Go figure.

The Vette is a cool car if you aren't tall or will never need to wear a helmet in it.

I'm just slightly taller than Dave and I don't even come close to fitting in a Lotus btw, my head must be bigger than Dave's helmet :)

I'm 5'10, no fit issues... :) I'm 38, and have wanted one since I was 5.
I have a Ford Edge, and my wife a Honda CRV. We have two kids, 5 and 2. Have to convince the wife that we could get by with her CRV as the one family car. Prices for the 2007-2009's seem to be in the 27-38k range...

I have had the distinct pleasure of driving a C6 Z06 on a road course. It does what it's supposed to do and makes the straights seem very short. Also makes remarkable noises. Thumbs up from me.
