Greetings: I just purchased a Serotta Ti on eBay. The place that is selling it is in Beverly Hills. It is one of those clearing houses that sells other peoples stuff on ebay. They know nothing about safely dismantling and packing a high end bike. I need someone in the Beverly Hills area who can pick up the Serotta and pack it for shipment to me here in Eugene, Oregon. I will be happy to negotiate fair compensation for this (cash and/or bike parts). If you are interested, please contact me off-forum at kko@ci.springfield.or.us. This will be my second Serotta, and my first Ti bike.

Regards,

Kevin Ko
Eugene, OR

Another option might be to get a Serotta shop in that area to pick up the bike and ship this to you. Obviously they won't do this for free, but it is worth a try. There is a link to find a dealer from Serotta's home page (http://www.serotta.com/)

There was also a thread last week (I think?) about how to pack a bike...you might send these instructions to them and tell them this is how you want it done...

Here you go: http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=9968

In deference to Keith's comments below, this should be a last resort option...you prolly want someone packing it that cares that it is done right.

Ozz -- That might help, but I would still be more comfortable having someone that is experienced pack my Serotta.
