Looking at the zippo handwarmers. I work at a desk in a warehouse with little heat....these things have been around for awhile, opinions?

I don't know if they are anything like the old Jones handwarmers, but my grandfather used to hunt with one and swore by it.

I loved mine...it does give off a slight "lighter fluid" scent, but other that that, they rock.

Try these. They are reusable and completely non-toxic and safe. As a Canadian that spends a lot if time in cold places I can say that these things work.

If you have access to electricity at your desk, why not go with a radiant heater or some other type of portable device?

I got one recently, it only worked for one use and I was never able to light it again.

Other complaints are you can turn it on, but essentially you can't turn it off until the lighter fluid burns up. I guess you could put it in a completely air proof bag to keep it from burning any more... but anyhow I would use something else.

this is probably a much better idea for daily use.

If you have access to a microwave consider using a corn filled heating pad.

We love them!
