news reports say similar unrest at bicycle shops nationwide over pinarello's with campy electro-shift. it's mayhem out there. stay safe.

I climbed over 4 prone bodies for a pair of those sneakers - and cut a hole in the bottom for some cleats. I figured the air pockets would make me faster up hills.

That is REALLY not how I read his comment (though I can see how it could be read that way, I suppose). Anyway, given that it's Christmas eve, maybe we can all, at least for tonight, assume good faith in our fellow forumites and not turn this into a big fight? Peace on Earth and goodwill to all, right?

have to do with racism? I am sorry you took it that way. If anything, my tongue was in my cheek as I do believe in Darwin's theory and do believe the strong and smart will survive and weak and not smart will not. Race nor creed nor color had anything to do with my comment.
