You'll need to make a template for the kind of bike you want.
I wanted a racing bike to I made a racing template.
Next you'll need 3 pieces of 4"x6"x12" Doug fir to make the racing models.

Cut out and sand three models.

Next you'll need to prime the models and paint them with your desired colors.

Final step is to leave them outside under a full moon for this to work and make a wish.

This is what I found when I woke up in the morning.

P.S. I had to make my own decals. :D

P.S.S If it doesn't work you can always give the racing cars to your nephews.
What a coincidence I have three nephews.

Like butter, but.....
shh, the derailleur can't see them so doesn't know any better (and neither does the DA 7700 crank).

This was the frame I wasn't able to sell so I built it up with parts I had and will use it as a errand/city bike.

Very cool. And a great keepsake for your nephews.

Glad to see you kept that lovely frame.

Very cool. Looks like the 1 is upside down. Either that, or the 2 and 3 are. Regardless, nephews will love them.

I used to have a Raleigh Team USA frame with campy dropouts that was raced by a Raleigh team member (who i met but whose name I can't remember) and was built by Marinoni, in those colors. with all black components, it was one of the nicest looking bikes i've ever seen. love that color combo

Very cute & well done.
You're better than Santa's elves!
I'd suggest making little Keirin bike racers for your next project,
those colors, the paint, and the numbers remind me of the colorful uniforms of the Japanese track racers.

Yeah I was thinking along those lines after doing these, maybe three wheeler but the body will mimic Keirin racers. Thanks,
Bob

Did this one last year, 18" long.
