I think I'm going to try out a flat bar on a fixed gear frame that feels a bit long in the TT. I need a flat bar in polished silver (or ti if you have it sitting around). Need not be too long (24" or so) and it's going in a 31.8 clamp, but I can always shim it.
Happy to trade (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=100750) or pay cash. This is an experiment, so I'd like to do it on the (relative) cheap.

have a 26.0 specialized flat bar that I used on my beater for the same experiemental reason. Not OS clamp, but PM me if you're interested. Slight sweep IIRC, silver.

I have new one, unbranded (Zoom?), 24", swept 4" from CL of stem to tips. 25.4 most likely, nice finish but not a full polish.

I have an excellent condition Nitto made Surly steel bar at 630mm. I love it but it's too narrow for me. 25.4mm
I would want $30 + shipping fr Switzerland
Let me know of interested...

Thanks everyone, I got several interesting offers that I'm working through. Douglas, I think the Surley sounds great, but it seems silly trying something on the cheap that has to be shipped from Europe. I'll be in touch individually as needed.

Just thought I would offer. You are better off searching for one in the US. Those Nitto bars are stellar by the way. If it was 700mm, I would keep it. In fact, I haven't taken it off my bike yet!
New Torsion bars measure up at 666mm, not 630mm like mine (which is an original).
Cheers,
Darren
