What's the axel to crown length on the Serotta road forks?

Looking for max clearance with short reach brakes for 28c tires. Rather not go the medium reach brake / touring fork route as I'm not using fenders.

Not sure about the newer forks, but the F2s have AC length of 373mm and can accommodate 28c tires with about 5mm of clearance.

Thanks. How low in the slot are your brake pads with the 373 length fork?

I use Mavic SSC brakes. The pads are about 2/3 of the way down the slot.

Fwiw, the axle-to-crown height of the F3 and S3 is 372mm, and with a 28mm Roly-Poly, there is about 4mm of clearance around the tire. If anything, depending on the length of the chainstays and whether you have a front derailleur clamp or a braze-on, you may have an issue fitting a 28mm tire on the rear.

Thats a bit tight for me. I guess the touring fork and a medium reach brake is the best choice if you want fatter then a 25 and a CF fork. I understand the touring fork is 381 which should fit tires quite a bit fatter then 28.

With a custom steel fork I could get the pad almost at the bottom of the slot that would get me maybe 7mm of clearance with short reach? if yes that would be sufficient.
