I wondered if someone here could help me identify the (approx.) year of this De Rosa Professional:

I don't think I have ever seen the lettering on the down tube being so large.

Looks like a respray, 1st time I see a derosa steel frame with decals that big.

Yes, looks like a respray to me too. Verify that it is in fact a De Rosa before you buy.

With the sloping crown fork I would guess it be in the mid to late 80s range. If I remember correctly, De Rosa went from a flat crown fork to a sloping crown in the mid 80s and then went back to the flat crown on the professional a few years later (early 90s?).

The parts kit looks to be mid 90s.

As Jet suggests, it may be a good idea to check the seatstay caps and bottom bracket shell for De Rosa pantographing.
