Hey everyone. I am trying to help out a friend who is starting a U23 development program, and is in search of a company that will be able to provide him with framesets at a discounted price.

He has already looked at some of the bigger names, and has begun searching some smaller ones.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions that may be a bit off the beaten path? I know that his U23 development program is focusing on the fact of rasisng up young clean athletes, which can be difficult here in southern California, where they are seeing local masters riders testing positive for drugs.

Take a look at him on Facebook and Tumblr:

you can certainly find aluminum race-ready framesets for ca. $200.

Specialized has very generous grass roots pricing programs available. May be worth checking out.

I see the newer local teams using Blue & Leopard frames for road, cross, track. I like the Leopard frames, they're based in the Bay Area, California. I think Half Moon Bay?

Edit: yes, Half Moon Bay, CA. http://www.leopardcycles.com/about.php
