Does anyone know what color blue was used in the coors light frame? When did the color change from yellow maroon to yellow blue happen? Anyone have any good pic's of the yellow blue version? I'm thinking of having a bike painted any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks again
Mike

Anyone? On the blue/yellow version the colors look very much like the blue/yellow on the older classique?
I emailed Serotta and hope to hear back but I'm sure they've got more important things going on at the moment.

Thanks much
Mike

You may want to try some painters that specialize in restoration like CycleArt> http://www.cyclart.com/

I seem to remember the first Team Coors Lite bikes with the blue/white scheme were Lemonds. Then when they were blue with white panels they were Clark-Kents. I may be wrong but I thought when they switched to Serotta was when they went to red/yellow. I personally have never seen a blue Serotta Coors Lite bike

That's gorgeous Gothard. Love the DT shifters and flite evo!

I've seen a couple in person and for my money.....that "blue" is a lot closer to a purple.

This color scheme came after the Racing Red/"Neon-y" yellow.

Oh, I was thinking older...however, that's a great bike! What team year was that?

Think the blue/yellow was the very last version of coors light.

+1 on the purple aspect. I have an actual team frame from Jonas Carney from here on the forum and in attempting to touch-up a small chip in the 'blue' section, I had to mix at least 3-4 drops of a metallic plum/purple color with about 5-6 drops dark metallic blue to come close to the correct shade. These were testors model paints BTW.

If you want a full re-paint with the proper shades or something as close as they can get, then I also echo the comments re: cyclart or similar. Those folks have been in the biz for a loong time and will do it right. It won't be cheap, and neither will sending it to serotta for that matter. These team schemes tend to run about 1000-1200 and maybe more if you want all the sponsor logos on there.
