That's an even better deal than the UK vendors are offering, once shipping and transaction fees are included.

How do the pro 3's compare to Conti GP4000S's and Vittoria Open Corsa's??

the k10 tires that are on sale are nice, too. I really like mine.

How do the pro 3's compare to Conti GP4000S's ...??
Folks differ on the details, but in general on the bike I consider these just about equivalent. Both are very good tires. YOMV (your opinion may vary)

IMHO....the contis wear much better and therefore last much longer

For $60 a pair,,,,,ship free and tax free....I am not complaining about the wear of the tires.....Cheapest price I can find for 4000S in Sportsbasement.com $61 each.

You can get 4000S's from pbk for about $40 each (if you buy two or more) with free postage.
Anyway, when it comes to tires, $10 either way doesn't matter to me much if it means getting a better tire.
I thought I had read in the past that Pro 3's cut pretty easy, but have never tried them myself...

pro race threes are incredible race day tires.
like others have said, they cut easy, but if you dont have road tubulars and want a good pair of race tires, these are a good way to go. they also race really well in wet weather with slightly lower pressure.
dont train on them, just race on them. I left a pair on after race season and they werent too bad (2 flats in around 200 hours of riding), but again, 30$ a tire is a great deal.
i just bought a few...

I havent had flat issues with PR3's but they certainly wear faster than conti4000s on clean dry bay area asphalt. at $30/ea hard to go wrong...wasn't saying not to buy...but someone did ask the comparison question...I bought some...and also have a small pile of conti4000s I picked up when they were down around $32/ea from PBK and others.
