I didn't want to hijack the other lighting thread. Looking at the YouTubes it look like the brightest thing out there. Looking at the website during lunch, it looks like a guy trying to build a better lighting system on his own.

Your odds of seeing one at this point are pretty low. These are hand-built custom lights so, for me, my first "large" run was 20 headlights and 30 taillights. I sold this first round about as fast as I could build them, and you can get some good user feedback (https://sites.google.com/site/designshinelighting/testimonials) on the website.

I'm currently working on a larger run of 70 taillights and 50 headlights, but moving to the higher quantity of parts has definitely had it's challenges. Things are slowly coming together though. I have a Build Progress Blog (http://www.designshinelighting.com/blog.php) on the new website that you can visit to see how things are coming. Once I have lights available, what I always say to potential customers is to treat the light as a "demo." Run it hard through the paces for a month or so and if it doesn't exceed your expectations, just send it back for a full refund. This taillight obviously isn't cheap and certainly not for everybody, but If you want the most effective daylight warning taillight humanly possible then you might want to take a DS-500 out for a demo.
