And the set-up is ... ummmm ... idiosyncratic?

the ad claims the bike is NEW but clarifies that little lie by stating that it has less than 150 miles.

the ridiculous saddle angle makes it look like someone who's never seen a road bike built it.

deceptive ad, horrible pic, and overpriced product.

WINNER!

The ebay version is $1100, local pick up preferred, with a BIN of $1400.
The BD version is $1300. Pretty comparable either way. A lot of people anything over a BD price is overpriced, but BD prices seem pretty low...it's probably hard to beat them.

Some people is just trying to get their money back, but pretty much that wont happen.

There is a guy here in the area CL selling a cyfac and a stork since like 2 or 3 months ago, each of them awesomely nice but who in the world will spend 5000 in a bike from CL? the idea is to offer a good deal but clearly he wont sell them at all. For 500 bucks a good carbon frame it worth the risk to buy w/o warranty but 5000 bucks? thats too much of a risk IMO, no matter how good the bike is.

I'd say it's overpriced for 1. being used (even <150 mis.) and 2. Ultegra 6600 componentry.

half the stuff I sell on ebay go for more than I paid for it.

You made me check. It is my size too and it is only $3,500 now. But, I certainly won't spend that on a CL bike even if I had the cash.

That was my point... with some items U can get your money back, with other ones you can't no matter how nice the item is.

Those bikes im talking about, are super nice but no way to get carbon w/o back up of a shop unless u are spending 500 bucks or 1000. more than that is to gamble too much IMO.

No point just having fun, but since we are having fun, I must correct my op
a light year is 5874601673407 mi. and 528.0 yd

8.511215e-12 ly equals 50 miles, strange math, should have paid attention in algebra and calc

looks like the above number is a great mileage goal for 2012

Just having fun before I go out and ride another 8.511215e-12 ly

Yes, but we don't want to be on-line, mesmerized by any one particular thread, for the amount of time it takes light to travel the distance that it takes light a year to travel, do we?
