Assos Bib sizing

I want to get a new Assos Bib - Have a size large but fits a little tight. I am 5'9.5" tall and weight 168 lbs. I know they are suppose to fit tight and according to the specs this is the size I am suppose to get - Any thoughts?

I wear a large in the Castelli brand bib.

When I wanted to try the Assos F1.13 shorts I ordered a large and x-large.

The large fit, but was very tight in the shoulders and pulled when I wasn't in a deep crouch.

I kept the x-large, finding the fit more like the Castelli large.

The bib is tight enough that even in the X-large, there is no bag in the seat or sides. For what it's worth, I am 5'10" and 172lbs.

One of the riders in a group I ride with is 6' and 180lbs. He likes the large size, but finds it very tight in the shoulders and seat.

If given an option, buy both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit. I think the X-large would be fine.

I find that Assos does run very small. In the jersey's I find the X-large snug.

thanks - Thats what I was thinking was the case on the Xlarge.

I had to make the shoulder straps longer on the large which fits me fine in all other brands that I have tried. They feel nice on long rides. Have a safe season.

I'm 5'10" and weigh 145lb. A large in the Assos tights fit me and a medium in the jerseys.
