They'll be exceptionally lucky to get even $7000 for that.

Makes you wonder why the shop has it...

Custom order that was never picked up?

Owner's personal ride?

One-off eye candy from Litespeed?

Whatever the reason, that's quite an expensive bit of inventory to have gathering dust for so long...

So long they couldn't take a decent picture, apparently.

Owner does NOT seem happy to have this, and looks like they're almost waiting to pick a fight with anyone who comments:

Anyone sending questions not related directly to the purchasing of the bike (or specifics of the bike with intent to purchase) will be permanently blocked from future purchases.

Seen the bike while visiting Madison [1]. It's a sight to be seen - more titanium than the hull of a soviet ballistic missile submarine.

This isn't the first eBay auction [2] or sale listing for this bike and certainly not the last! A darn hard thing to sell, unless you want to make your own team time trial team... on a single bike!

I like the name of the seller - "Budgetbicyclecenter" Hardly.

My wife and I were in Newfoundland a few years ago and twice saw a family travelling on a bike for 4. We gave them a lot of credit. I don't think it was ti, though. :)

This is the sort of purchase for which, if you want it, you have to offer $4400 from now until about 54 months from now when he decides he really wants to be rid of it. Just call him on the first of every month with that offer...

I saw that too. I might just ask him a question for the honor of being blocked.

"Hi, great looking bike. Do you really think you'll get $25,000 for that?"

+1 That's funny.

Too bad all 3 sizes won't fit me.

At that price it should be upgraded to Di2.

The price must be based on rarity and collectibility because I can't see adding $25,000+ MSRP for the 3rd seat. There isn't that much more time and material invested to make it so expensive.

I like mine better anyway...it has a certain je ne sais quoi.

Our's is 4130 straight gauge OS tubing and you can really feel the flex. Granted the second two positions are step through. I can't imagine that Litespeed not being a noodle in the rear position.

Triples are not particularly uncommon around the Northwest. I'm pretty sure Bill Davidson would be happy to build you one for a lot less than $25K! And with a more modern high end group as well. We see a lot of Rodriguez multiples too. Not my favorite builder, but still, $25K What's up with that?

There have been 6 offers!

My guess is it's one guy: $1000, $2000, $3000, $4000, $4500, $4600

"Price is firm"..........I guess they'll find out if titanium will eventually turn to dust :)

$25K What's up with that?

Listing with a stupid price costs just a much as a listing with a reasonable price...

Too lazy to take the bike off the ceiling for some decent pics. I don't understand the ebay auctions with greatly inflated prices. Is it a fishing expedition that eventually pays off? I've certainly seen a lot more auctions slanted toward the ridiculous since the economy went south.

Don't know, but expect perhaps marketing?

Just think how much attention he's drawn from this group alone.

If it is a triplet ... how is it a tandem as well???

Stupid ad copy for an item with that price tag.

There is a difference between positive attention and negative.
