Anyone running a Brooks on a Bold Seatpost ?

Does the Bold securely hold a Brooks?
How easy are micro adjustments ?
-------------
my Thompson post holds tenaciously.
The advantage to the Bold is that it's available in custom diameters
for my new Bedford.
and the Bold looks sooooooooo cool !!!!!

Does your new Bedford require a custom diameter?

Done it several times, no problem.
Bolds are as nice as Campy posts.

Bolds are awesome and hold tight. I don't see why a Brooks saddle would change the equation.

I have one (but no Brooks). micro adjustments are very easy, you just loosen the bolts, tilt the saddle and tighten the bolts.

Kelly is going with OS tubes and lugs.
Kelly can always built a custom shim .... so not really ...
But if we could avoid this .... it would be nice ....

Albert needed to machine down the clamp a bit for my B 17 N to work. I ended up shipping him my saddle so he could see my issues first hand. Aside from that knowing that you are using that freaking Spring loaded saddle I would opt for the Nitto 2 bolt post which is more secure and BETTER looking too. F the weight differences.

That's a great looking seat post but the longest size is 250mm. I"m wondering if it can be used on a frame with a sloping TT.

Albert can make and has made a LONGER SEAT POST. Too Tall from ATH used a gonzo post on his Spectrum Super Bike. The post was wayyyy long. also the rider is 6 ft 8 inches tall. I know I fit him on his Legend Ti :)
The problem with ti posts is that the long ones really flex.

Thanks. It's always good to see something of such quality made "locally".

Now please keep in mind that Tom kellog spec'd a larger diameter post for this super bike I think it was 31.6 mm or such
All TK's Ti bikes come with that size seatpost!

Helps but level tt or isp is the way to go if one rides with panache.

I try not to ride with Panache. He takes short pulls and half-wheels.
