I think I'm finally at the point where I believe the weight I've taken off will stay off. Therefore, I'm selling some clothing that I'm no longer using - mostly Rapha stuff.

In terms of American brands Aspirational Sizing habits; Rapha runs small... In the real world it runs true to size. I'm 5'10", at 190lbs I was an XL. At my more natural 160lbs I'm a Medium: I had a similar purge earlier this year; jackets, jerseys, gillets. I gave most of it away and sold a couple of odds and ends. Now I'm down to just a couple of jerseys and no jackets. Losing weight and regaining fitness is great, but it can be expensive!

Seems to depend on body type. The sizing charts on the Rapha site are rather comprehensive I have found. With a sewing tape and some quick measurements, I have not been led astray by their size recommendations.

For reference I am 6'3" 165lbs (34" inseam) and run a medium in bib shorts, jerseys, jackets. But I run a small in baselayers, large in caps. Hope this helps. Those are all a comfortably snug fit as I would expect from such high performance clothing.

curious, what year was the black softshell? was wondering when did rapha change the pocket config from what is shown on the red SV jacket to what is shown on the black softshell jacket (two horizontal zips), as well as add "leather" to BOTH shoulders?
