Raysport Super Corsa $600+ shipping
This is a rare Raysport Super Corsa frame (56x56 cm) that was built in Mexico under the supervision of Ian Alsop , a British cycling champion, former Olympian for Raymond J. "Ray" Florman Bike Shops hence the name "Ray"sport. A fleet of these were built in Mexico in 1975 and were a nice copy of a Cinelli Super Corsa. Tubes are custom drawn Reynolds 531, lugs are Prugnat Type "S", fork crown is an internally lugged fully sloping Cinelli, dropouts are Campagnolo. The only braze-ons are a set of downtube bottle mounts and a cable stop on the chainstay.
Not sure how many were built for Ray Flormans bike shop but it's believed to be maybe three hundred. This frame was never built up until I built it up using a mixture of eclectic vintage parts to use as a rider. It is set up using vintage clip on Suntour DT shifters. Campagnolo 8 speed r.derailleur/hub and 13/26 cassette (record or chorus?) Shimano 600 brake levers and Dia compe bolt on calipers. Shimano Ultegra crankset (53/42) The frame makes for a very fast , agile sure handling bike much like a Cinelli Super Corsa. $600 + shipping ($65) complete bike Frame/fork/headset (velo) $400+Shipping ($35) Super condition, no dents or dings.
