Yes. Ben Serotta is building frames. A Modo Mio is a fillet brazed (by Ben)frame using new Colorado tubing from Columbus. It will be a limited edition, signed and numbered frame with a carbon fork. Sold as a complete bicycle and exclusively through Savile Road. We have the first one at the shop and we are building it for a Bicycling magazine photo shoot. There will be a disc brake version. Please call the shop if you would like more details.

Looks great! I honestly don't know of Ben's history as a torch-wielder but IMO he is one of the finest designers of bikes in modern history.

Bens fillet brazing is top notch. I picked up a Ben and Marcy built tandem off of Craigslist this summer and the craftsmenship is top notch! Very cool to hear that he is building again

Savile, congrats. Looking good.

Clean aesthetic. 44HT. Discs.

If he embraced these elements towards the end there might have been no end.

Whatever happened with he and Frank Wadelton's little rendezvous a few months back? Is this one and the same?

Yes, Ben will be brazing these frames at Frank's workshop. There will also be a TIG version of the frame that Frank will produce. The paint job by Vicious Cycles is one of the best I have ever seen...

It's been a very exciting project. There will be a formal press release/announcement from the Serotta Design Studio.

Call us at Savile Road for more info. 518-439-4766

It's nice to see him back, these are good news. Is that my buddy Gary on a phone in the corner, looks like it is. Made in USA.

Is there a reason he's not building under his own name? Are the trademarks owned by Divine Cycling or whoever bought the assets?

Before the speculation goes wild... Serotta Design Studio is Ben's business. There are a few projects in development. The first is this steel frame being built in Frank Wadelton's workshop. Other projects using different materials could be built elsewhere. This is a new venture not a reboot.
