Either that's yet another calculated step in the Armstrong PR machine, or this guy's ego is so huge he actually thinks people give a &$@#! about what he has to say.
Given that he's with Hill & Knowlton (very good firm by the way), methinks it's more the former. Last edited by 54ny77; 08-04-2014 at 09:21 PM. |

I wonder how much that cost the Foundation.

That should do a good job of stroking Greg's ego. it's a nice dig on LA at the same time.

Oh, maybe $1,100/hr. for senior advisor time, plus travel expenses. To start. With a 6 figure retainer.

I do legal and accounting consulting for a start up in town and they're using a very well regarded, big name local firm. The billable hour rates are unreal, and I can't believe how half assed and sloppy some of their work is. If I'd written or reviewed contracts like their 500/hr attorney does, I'd have been fired from my last role after a week.

$500/hr? Must be junior-midlevel associate at Dewey Screwem & Howe. Nice of you to provide pricey on-the-job training!

I was pretty sure this would go downhill fast. Instead it went amusingly sideways, for now.

I get the feeling that the dig on LA was the primary driver on this one. The subtle cuts seemed to be a bit deeper than necessary. It's almost as if it was a passive-aggressive, "open letter" to Lance. Two birds with one stone perhaps?
