Basketball sucks. Whistles every 12 seconds. Judgment call "fouls." Rim is too low. Give me the NHL playoffs all day long. That is intensity. Just can't get into hoops.

Agreed. Best thing about the NBA finals is the season is at an end.

I agree that NHL is WAYYYYYY better than NBA. but I despise the Penguins (not because I'm from the Cleveland area and it's Pittsburgh, but because I'm a Flyers fan!) and how NBC fawns all over them so much so that it's difficult to even watch. during the regular season, NHL is on much more frequently than NBA.

I agree about NBC. Listening to Doc makes my blood boil. But thrilled it's on tv so I will watch. Wings fan here but don't care who is playing.

the only thing worse than Doc is Pierre. I don't care where everyone went to college, what the scouts say about who, or what Crosby had for dinner last night, Pierre! Eddie Olczyk is almost a relief, until he starts droning on about horse racing...

I'm a long time NBA fan, and I have to agree that LeBron is one of the best 2 or 3 players in history. If we are going to compare to Jordan, remember that the 90s was an era of talent dilution due to expansion, and that the existing rules made defense slightly more physical but infinitely less complex. I admire Jordan's will, but LeBron is the chessmaster in a way Jordan never was.
I hate the way Durant going to GS has made this a 2 team league. I miss the West playoffs being compelling television. It's bad for the league. |

Yeah, the guy's a bum.
Probably shouldn't even be a starter on his own team, let alone being called the best player of his generation, if not even co-GOAT. |

VERY HARD to compare players from different eras! MJ over LBJ? Maybe if played in the MJ era. LBJ over MJ? Maybe if the called the game with today's rules.
What about Wilt who by any records, except rings is the greatest of all time. Again different eras. Anyway, if you played a game with 5 MJs against 5 LBJS who you think would win? My bet would go to LBJ, no way in the world MJ handles him on the block. |

Not sure I agree with that...but after watching the last two or three NBA seasons with a mixture of astonishment and boredom, I wouldn't have any objection if they decided to move the 3-point line back another 4 or 5 feet.

LeDouche is the biggest flopper/whiner in history! Kevin Love is second. |

It's funny, Charles from Pez and I were just talking about the game and Klay today. It's like something happened personally and it's still in his head or something. And it all happened a few weeks after his 60 point game. At least he played some great defense last night but he is far from what he was last year or earlier in the season. |
