For some reason, that's kinda funny. "Give me your ffing bike!". Has anybody just worked their way down the trail a little? It's not as though he made it far.

That's going to be a hard person to identify. What is it with these people? If you're going to get into running away from the authorities, at least keep the ink away from above collar situations.

Ridden a bunch in Pisgah, and went to Scout camp there when I was a kid. None of this surprises me, it's Bo and Luke Duke country. Eric Rudolph hid there for years. It's desolate when you go deep in there, seen a few odd things over the years

The most surprising thing from the article is that a bike shop located in a town like Pisgah, has year round riding, a regional riding destination and is the gateway to a crazy huge trail system that's mark/mapped etc only makes $ 1 month per year? There's Sierra Nevada World, Dale's Pale Ale World, great places to eat, well-off retirees, rich people with 2nd homes, a college for Hippie snow flakes and heavy foot traffic past your front door...and you serve beer?

I enjoy the phrase "it appears that the suspect is still on mountain bike in the forest." EPIC ride, maybe he's training for some 24 hour races?

Are you kidding me; he looks like a million other meth-heads, gang bangers, racist/anarchist types. In fact, put some skinny jeans and a tight shirt on him, hand him a fixie, and he'll even blend in with the college hipsters, no problemo.

Wow. I complain sometimes that I live in a boring, upper middle class town that has nothing to do with me, but, man, at least I don't have to worry about some things. The teenagers can be sullen here, like they are anywhere, but at least they're far enough advanced to know or be told that a neck tattoo or higher would sorta mess up their lives, like, forever.
