Wheelbuild Colour Recommendations

Welcome from 'de-lurking'....and nice bike.

I would do silver rims/spokes and hard ano (grey) rims. I think the grey would look better with the black fork.

I don't have a picture of my Serotta with those wheels, which is where they normally reside, but once I get home from this trip I can take one.

I thought about using them with this bike, but they have 25c tires on them and the brake clearance looks like this.



I will build some Record hubs onto Nemesis rims for this bike... because of course just getting different tires wouldn't work.

Haven't really read other responses, but here's my opinion:

Black rims seem to be a given. If silver hubs, then silver spokes. Maybe play around with nipples.

If black hubs, go with black spokes. Nipples could go either way, black or silver.

Not crazy about silver hubs and black spokes. But it's personal and it's your bike - do what you like and share the results!

Not discontinued but only in triple..

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. I decided to go with black rims, silver hubs/spokes in the end. Will post pics when they're built up.
