Yes, great photos.

My greenery looks similar (PNW) but no beautiful dirt trails like that. Its either a road or scary, root-covered trails where a CX bike would likely fail you (trust me, I have tried).

Thanks. The second shot was taken just above the famous Muir Woods on a fire road called Deer Park Fire Road. These trails are no where near as lush as the PNW but certain spots on these trails make it seem like they are.

Here is my gravel bike. A Singular Gryphon, purchased from from fellow PLFer @pastashop and originally from @kirk007. I have replaced the derailleur, and cassette to SRAM X-7 and 11-36 because...duh. I use flared Nitto bars with Red shifters. I recently replaced the crankset with a Praxis Works 48/32 Alba and a SRAM XO front derailleur. And, I run Terravail Cannonball rubber (tubeless) on Velocity Blunt XL rims. Shimano BB517 mech discs with 180mm rotors give me plenty of stopping power.

This is one VERY capable bike! It goes up anything, and screams the downhill. So confident, so stable. It almost makes up for the fact it's a tank.

Great Singular Gryphon build! They are awesome bikes. I have a drop-bar Singular Swift, which I love.

Thanks for posting! It's nice to see an old friend. Also great to see you enjoying it!

(btw, if you're not into that old crank, I'd prolly buy it (back) from ya – having a bear of a time getting a low enough Q for an upcoming build with anything I have on hand.)

Once I discovered Singular, I went back to them when it was time to build a new commuter. My requirements were the ability to run 28mm or larger tires with fenders, and I needed some way to tension the chain (no vertical drops). They were clearancing the Osprey, in XL, which I felt would be a gorgeous build. I have you 1st gen DuraAce cranks and found 1st gen DA brakes. This is my daily rider and I really enjoy it!
