When I used to race lots of criteriums I had 42cm bars on because, hey, it gets pretty tight in the pack. But 44cm feels so much better to me on the road, especially on a standing climb.
But according to today's latest trends, we are supposed to have super narrow bars on the road, super wide bars on the gravel, and ridiculously wide bars on the mountain bike. Got it.
