My little workbench/niche during a recent sort & reorganize of the garage. Still working on hanging things on the pegboard and bench. Workstand is folded up to the lower left. Next major thing is filling out a few more tools and hopefully getting a truing stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Started with the best of intentions two years ago but a new job with lots of travelling and two young kids mean it’s stalled.... any spare time I get when home is spent with the family and I need to make plans in advance to find time to Zwift during the week. I have some time off towards the end of the year and plan on reorganizing it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I built a 2x4 workbench. Nothing special except a view of Mt Tamalpais when I work.

Things one can do for free or nearly free.
Parts bins with shelving rule (from a previous employer who re-organized the production floor, I got two of these and a work bench) DSC01481-1.jpg Re-purposed rolling toolbox (thanks dad, RIP) BBs.jpg Costco crates (this is the hazard of working next door to and having many friends at Camelbak) bottle.jpg Re-purposed cheap particle board furniture from goodwill. cranks.jpg |

Are you using Pampers in lieu of bibs with a chamois?

Here's my new one since we moved. This is the "mechanical" part of the shop, I can close the door and the dust from the wood shop stays in the wood shop. From this view, there are nice bikes to the left of me and townie bikes to the right. The ski waxing is also going to be done here. I can get the front or rear of a car in here and work on it if necessary, but I hate working on cars so hopefully that won't happen too often. You can see the edge of "Big Red" the tool box on the right. The benchtop is 3 layers of 3/4 ply glued and screwed, to support the Wilton on the end, lots more stickers have appeared since this picture was taken.
