Recondition white saddle

I have a white Selle smp saddle and the front 1/3 on both sides is a bit worn. The shiny smooth surface is giving way to bare leather. Does anyone know how to recondition the leather to make it smooth and shiny again but also in white not dark brown? Would one of those liquid leather dab on products for white leather shoes work?

I looked at his site and the examples of his recovered saddles. IMO, it looks good but not great. Still, if I had to recover a saddle, I would have no problems sending it to him. After all, not a whole lot of folks doing this kind of work.

I think your best bet is to take it to a better cobbler - someone who does both shoes and purses. They can restain the leather and seal it - usually very affordably.
