I love my Campagnolo Record REV 11 but...

I have just under 5k on my Campy Record Revolution 11. The shifting is fast and precise. It feels like a tank, just gets better with time. The only thing I don't like are the pulleys. They get so ripped up and so hard to clean, especially the lower one witch gets more ware. It's not diminishing performance but is collects a lot of dirt.
Any thoughts, should I upgrade with aftermarket?
Please don't mention $200 ceramicspeed.

A hose and a scrub brush do wonders.

Yup, the holes get crammed with gunk. About once a month I take off
-pulleys
-chainrings
-cassette cogs
-chain

clean/scrub in pan with simple green and brush. Dry, lube(grease inside pulleys), and put back on. Don't mess with aftermarket pulleys, none work as well as OE. Besides they would get dirty also.

I do that about every 6 mo, but in between full cleaning, I just clean with a brush and tooth-pick to clean the little holes and then drip some lubricant into the bushings.

Ditto that, minus one month, plus 6-9.

How often do the rest of you replace the pulleys (Jockey wheels?)? I've got insane miles on my 2011 SR grouppo, and all I've had to replace are the cables/housings and shifter assemblies. I probably could have gotten away with the original chain too, but it got changed out.

Mine are in great shape after 10,000 miles.
Much better than my Shimanno alloy ones:
