Didn't need to read the sumo wears smaller. I was checking them out today but fear of a tank watch made me decide to ignore them for now.

I'm impressed with the 009 and find the jubilee very comfortable. I should probably just stick with it for awhile?

Nice - but it doesn't have an hour hand!

One thing where measurements are sort of misleading is lug curvature. I've owned watches with much smaller lug-lug that didn't curve a lot and wore bigger than the Sumo. The Sumo and MM300 have very shallow casebacks as well. I have very small wrists to where the SKXs that I had had a gap from the lug to where my wrist curved, but the Sumo and MM300 don't.

With that said I'm really partial to rectangular indices and the LE that I have uses the original 62MAS dial and the 6105 sword hands which are probably the two most classic, versatile features of Seiko dive watches. The ceramic bezel and diashield have been awesome- not a single scratch and I have hit it on many a doorway. They come up lightly used or new for ~$700-$800 on Watch Recon all the time too.

Mark, are you trying to do with watches what I was doing with bike frames a while back? You know that you can really only wear / ride one at a time?

Depends on the model. Overall they're an old brand that has reinvented itself a bunch and uses a lot of in house movements that in most cases are on par with standard ETA offerings. Good price point, but not a ton of brand support in the U.S. I like the Startimer autos quite a bit.

Hey watch people. Please recommend me a quartz analog watch titanium case not too big with almost all 12 number and date.
A little digital display would be nice. I have a tissot touch and want something different.
Thanks.
I do not want to wind the watch. It would be nice to have a rubber bracelet.

How about this seiko? Then get a rubber strap.

If you like more dial clutter citizen has some nice offerings. Perpetual, chronos, some with digital.

Most digi ana combos I've seen are a cluttered mess.
