I just ordered a quill 31.8 stem from Paul (Rock Lobster)... I wanted to keep a clean look on a steel frame and I think his price is more than fair. It is weird going from flat top bars to little 26.0 bars... if anyone is looking for another option.

This topic interests me, too. The OP stem looks nice, but there's only a 90mm length offered - too short for me. If there was a 110 or 120mm version offered, I might bite, even though I'm not crazy about ordering directly from Japan.

Not seeing anything on the Rock Lobster site about stems, so if they do stuff like that, they sure aren't advertising it.

And agree that Nitto stem looks fugly!

Paul does fillet and tig stems... i ordered a tig in black powdercoat to look like my old Salsa it is replacing. I would give Paul a call if you are interested. I just did a screen shot of his facebook page.
