My steel riders are a Della Santa and a vintage Colnago Mexico.

I also ride a Colnago C-50.

I have some other steel, ti and carbon bikes that are wall art, not riders.

Current group:

Grandis Overmax Light
Sachs Road
Pegoretti Palosanto
Colnago Master Piu (Gilco - looks more like a Master Light)
(Alberto Masi) Milano 31.4 Volumetrica Touring Geometry
Masi Pista (Torelli era)
mid-1970s Masi Gran Criterium

... and one more that's not quite finished:

Kelly Knobby-X

... and one more that I might rebuild some day:

3Rensho Katana-S

Odd stuff about four of them:

The rarest of the batch might be the Milano. I've heard (but cannot confirm) that only 6 were imported with touring geometry. The Colnago has odd gemoetry as well. It has a 52 c-to-t seat tube, but a 54cm top tube. The Grandis was one of the last few (possibly the last one) imported into the U.S. The Gran Crit is the same one (s/n matches) that appears in Masi's 1978 brochure, but the frame was reportedly brazed some years earlier (been told by Eisentraut, but who knows?) and not stamped with a s/n and painted until shortly before Masi left Carlsbad. It may not be true, but it's a heck of a story.

Regards,
Tom
