for elemnt users, what do you upload your ride data to, strava?

They just released the BOLT which is an elemnt with less fields.

Also it can be screwed onto the bike holder which enables it to be included in the total bike weight (vs. adding it after being weighed).

I have the Tickr. Best HRM I've owned, and I've tried them all.

I've had opposite experiences. Just swapped mine for old style garmin. It kept slipping.

I'll second that. I love mine. So much, I bought the RPM cadence, too, for indoor riding on the trainer.

Excellent products.

gonna move on from garmin with my rei dividend.
any comparison between the wahoo elemnt and the lezyne super gps?

fwiw, i'm looking at them specifically because they are the larger screen models with no color display. too much glare on my garmin, tho i'm not sure if that's the color part or the touchscreen part of the display.

Go with the wahoo. You will not regret it. Best computer I've ever used mine. It's currently en route to Matt Z so he can enjoy them.

Yep. Pretty cool. Not sure if it's the tickr or the iphone7, but I can have my phone in the middle jersey pocket and it will pick up the heart rate and I can read the data on strava when I get home. I'll put the phone on my bars if I'm going for an hour of hr based intervals.

Regarding your second question, I upload to Strava, but through the Wahoo Fitness app. It auto-syncs rides to my phone and stores them with a free 'cloud' account. So as far as I know, they're all backed up online.
The Wahoo app also interprets ride data in ways that would otherwise require Strava Premium; i.e. you input your FTP, HR zones, height, weight, etc, and it does the same calculations Strava does.

I have a tickr too and I agree, fantastic.

I just bought a blue SC speed/cadence sensor, haven't installed but I am sure its great.

Also have a kickr and another great product. Would definitely consider a bolt or whatever replaces the element next. Wahoo makes good products, I am definitely a fan

same experience here. The tickr needs to be too tight to avoid slipping.

I have an elemnt and it's nice, but it's not life changing improvement from my Garmin 800. I hate the shape of the buttons. It's almost like they didn't even test the ergonomics before going to production. They are unnecessarily hard to press and shaped in an awkward way. It's also really big looking. The mapping leaves a lot to be desired (this could be addressed with software).

The battery is great, the app integration and synching is nice.
