Keywin axles

Anybody knows if the CRM and Carbon pedals use the same axles??? I know the cleats are different but no info about the axles?

Cant find anything so... anybody knows?

Whats the main difference between the crm and carbon that you cant use the crm cleats in the carbon model? it is a size shape thing or is something else?

I don't have ready access to them now to take some pics to illustrate but the CRM and Carbon cleats are subtly different and you can't mix pedal models and cleats. I do recall that the CRM cleats are thicker than the Carbon cleats are, for one.

As for the axles, they are definitely different. The bearing seats are a little different between the two and they use different sized nyloc nuts on the axle ends to retain the pedals.

Simply put, you can't mix and match.

Ok, here are some comparison shots. The axles are different lengths but the important bit is the end where the nyloc nut affixes to hold the pedal bodies onto the axle. You can see that the CRM axle threads are larger than the Carbon and that the Carbon axle has a small shelf at the end of the threads.

You can also see the differences in the cleats and the pedal bodies.
