The Giants gambled on a bunch of old washed up guys hoping to get one more championship and they failed. They gave away a lot of promising young talent and well, they now have the worst record in baseball. So now the Giants are desperate. But it really doesn't cost them anything, so why not?! The Red Sox were dumber and will have to eat what $49.5m or something like that for the next 2 years....that sucks!

But the panda needs to get off his fat butt and prove he can still play. Tbd....Good Luck!

You are welcome to him

He may have been the second worse transaction in the history of the Red Sox.

But, with him, the curse was having him here.

I, for one, welcome him back and look forward to the Giants awarding him the World Series MVP award in 2018, an even year, just saying

Not his problem that the Red Sox looked at his career arc and habits and decided to pay him all the money.

What's interesting is when Panda signed that $95m contract with the Red Sox, he turned down a larger offer from the Giants!

Of course, the Giants had a great replacement in Matt Duffy! But they traded him for a washed up guy and well, they're in last place with the worst record in baseball.

Don't get me started with Adam Duvall...

Very true. It's the Sox who were idiots. The owners love big-name stars, while conversely, it's been more solid journeymen players that have contributed much to their success.
