Di2 Question

My favorite bars don’t have holes behind the shifters, just near the bar ends. I assume that you route the wire down the inner side of the drop to the back and into the hole. Can you feel the wire under the tape ?

Depends on what you are ultimately trying to do.

Are you using a shimano ew-rs910 junction box mounted as a bar-end with the wiring external (not through the bar, stem and frame)? Than yes. As seen here.

Barely noticeable in my experience. But will depend on where you place them and how thick your tape is.

If your bars have the hole for the wires near the end of the drop, you can just get a longer wire and feed the cable thru the bars, pull it out the hole and back up to the shifter.

...or...

Run a wire along the inside (not thru the bar) of the bar where the brake housing goes, then you won't feel lit at all. You may feel the one wire going from the shifter to the A Junction, but it's only 1 wire
