his site says his list is closed.. I did reach out to him when I had this on the way and he sent me a really nice reply with a "how to care for your stainless steel bike" article..

this bike rides soooo nice!! I was really happy to get the 30mil tires on.. admittedly, they are a little less than 30mm when measured on the current wheels (around 28.5-29mm), but the wheels are so nice, I don't mind..

I'm very happy to learn that you heard from him, so presumably he's OK! He's not just an uber-talented framemaker but a wonderful human.

My new (to me) Della Santa, built with some old Campagnolo Chorus 9. It is just exactly right.
