I've got a saddle like this too. I've been thinking, hypodermic of epoxy... but haven't tried it.

Gorilla Glue?

I think it's Gorilla Glue which expands to about 4 times it's size when it dries and adheres. It's great at filling voids. And boy, does it adhere to whatever! Don't use very much or you'll have a big blob expanded out of your sealing area.

Warranty, replacement? This shouldn't happen, IMHO..

I second Gorilla Glue, it's prolonged the life of several saddles for me.

I just used Gorilla Glue on another project and concur that it's probably the best solution.

Position the saddle so gravity will flow the glue into the gap. Wait 15-30 minutes then wipe off the excess per the instructions. If you don't, it will dry very hard a is a bear to remove.

Selle italia slr XC - I got it on amazon for like 90$ - the rail shell moves or "gives or clunks" when I pick up the bike by the saddle. Its barely a season old but to warranty it i'd need a new saddle anyhow, I just was wondering if silicon caulk might work better ....Its also not shinny.
