If the other big guns (Quintana, Nibali, and Froome) are watching this unfold. They have to hope pistolero get sick and looses some of his form before the tour. He is on fire!

I'm sure they are calling the towns along the tour route asking for more road furniture for Contador to crash into. That seems to be the only think that slows him down

It'll be interesting to see the Contador/Sagan team dynamic. The team looks to be really slated to a GC overall approach, but consider who will be there. The green jersey winner from years past as well as last KOM winner. It will be entertaining to see how the team is managed and what kind of wildcards come about. Sorry, that's a little off topic, I really look forward to the next two days of racing.

It seems the whole Astana team has been on a blitzkrieg pace. And this after the controversy with the UCI and the chance of getting their license revoked.

Aru in the saddle looking comfortable with Hesjedal sprinting, gasping, to stay on his wheel. After Aru gets blown up for three consecutive stages? Hard not to call BS.

If you guys noticed even basso was climbing todays with contador so that can tell you if they were going full gas in the climbs or not. The main contenders group was way too big also.

Aru needed his stage win, IMO that's what they did because when Landa went for it aru got behind and had to sprint to catch him and contador. Then landa did nothing, remember too that Aru is the #1 in that team aswell.

Tomorrow's stage might be harder... probably contador and Landa will put a show for us tomorrow.

But with its resolution of the case, didn't the UCI effectively say "as you were, gentlemen"?

It just makes their claims of "clean racing" look even more ridiculous.

Never thought I would say this, but Astana makes Sky look clean in the Giro. I hope Aru gets popped and Greg Henderson wins that defamation case.

Contadors team screwed the tactics... they didnt need to do crap the last 2 or 3 stages, just ride hard maybe the last 2 or 3 km before the climbs and that was it. Looks like the russian does better with banking stuff...

At some point i really thought Landa was going to win the giro...

I cannot believe landa left his earpiece in. Ryder had a strong ride, I was hoping he could pull something off at the end.
